Minister of Industry and Minerals discusses exploitation measures of copper scrap in State Company of Copper and Mechanical Industries, means of marketing its products to public, private sectors

Minister of Industry and Minerals Eng. Mohammed Shyaa Al-Sudani chaired a meeting on Monday to discuss the ways and means of developing the work in State Company of Copper and Mechanical industries and to market its typical products that are made from copper and its alloys in the presence of Deputy minister for planning affairs Mr. Mohammed Hashim, Inspector-general Mr. Adnan Kareem Salman, a number of general directors and officials from the Ministry of Industry departments and the General Director of State Company of Copper and Mechanical Industries. 
During the meeting, the minister and the attendance discussed the measures taken regarding implementing recommendations of the committee formed by the ministerial order (No. 80 in 2015 ) for the purpose of exploiting copper scrap to produce copper castings with a 98% purity according to the instructions and regulations issued and to make the company able to implement the signed agreement with the Emirati Trade Group. The meeting included detailed discussions about the requirements and actions should taken to activate the marketing in the abovementioned company. 
H.E. Al-Sudani emphasized at the beginning of the meeting on the plans adopted by the ministry to develop its companies and to increase revenues through making partnerships with the private sector and adopting modern means in marketing. H.E. Al-Sudani also emphasized on cooperation and coordination with other ministries and beneficial sides to meet their needs. 
H.E. Al-Sudani recommended during the meeting to complete inventory of materials and products in warehouses according to regulations. And giving effect to the signed agreement with the Emirati Trade Group according to the order of the State Company of Copper and Mechanical Industries management.
